Date of Birth – this is so essential to avoid choosing the wrong patient that I have a hard time believing your programmers didn’t think of this. It is inexcusable! In fact, it should be required by Federal Law that to avoid HIPPA violations, every time you pull reports with a patient’s name the DOB is automatically included. Don’t wait for a law, JUST DO IT!
Patient’s chart number, telephone and address #–also basic and it would be nice
