offer a port/communication validation tool to test connectivity with upgrades to test out 3rd party vendor integrations such as E-prescribe
Whne upgrading from 6.5 to 8.0.1 we were unable to test out the Updox Patient Portal and Allscripts E-Prescribe system because we didn't have a license to test with. If test licenses are unavailable the next best option would be a simple tool that tests communication too and from the related vendors.
