In Billing Statements the Statement Date and Balance Forward Date should not be allowed to be future dated
Office accidentally entered a forward date in the Billing Statement Date (they entered 12/31/2016), which then inserted that date into the Last Statement Date in the Ledger. When the office goes to create a new batch of statements, they are selecting “If Not Billed Since” in the Billing Filters, and because several batches of patients have a Last Statement Date of 12/31/2016, these patients aren’t getting statements generated.
Steps To Duplicate
1. Launch Office Manager
2. Click on Reports | Billing
3. Change the Statement Date to a forward date and generate statements
4. Print statements
RESULTS: This will change the Last Statement Date in the ledger to that forward date
EXPECTED RESULTS: The Statement Date and Balance Forward Date fields should not be allowed to be future dated. If a future date is entered when the cursor leaves the field a message should come up that says something to the effect that the date cannot be set to a date in the future.
