Even if caught in chart prep and typed into appointment notes, it is difficult to spotlight the patients that have a past due balance on their accounts by viewing the appointment book. Maybe a small icon replacing the one identifying a late patient that has a $ on it? Even if it was a manual check box and didn't communicate with the ledger. It is tough to catch appointment notes without a visual in a busy clinic.

I like the idea, later in the year we are looking at some enhancements for the appointment book. I'll see if we can do something while we are in that area of our code.
