There shouldn't be a cap on 11 characters for passwords, it's terrible security to mandate shorter passwords. Also, if there is a cap on how long the passwords are, user's shouldn't be able to enter more than that amount in the login screen. We constantly get calls from users who just changed their password but can't get logged in because Dentrix only took the first 11 characters, but then it lets them enter their longer password in the login screen, where they get a login error on a newly changed password.
